Innovative Composite Engineering (ICE), an industry leader in carbon fiber technology best known for their line of sail board masts, asked us to develop a brand identity for a new snowboard line, to be labeled NoLimitz Snowboards. ICE’s unique technology translated well to this new venture, since the boards are extremely light weight and highly durable. To reflect the high-end price point of the boards, we used a die sublimation printing process, which produces near flawless continuous-tone colors. Also, we developed simple graphics reminiscent of 1960’s surf board designs, which reflected the company’s surf culture.
